Sample preparation accessories
The MT.5500 is a cylindrical hand microtome from Euromex for cutting thin sections of specimens before observing them under the microscope. Its round Ø70 mm stage with a black glass surface and the micrometre height adjustment with 0.01 mm divisions let you control the thickness of each section. It is supplied with a PB.5106 plano-concave blade and a wooden case, ready for teachers, students and hobbyists.
